PBN Course (Performance Based Navigation)
Performance Based Navigation (PBN) is an advanced air navigation concept that focuses on aircraft performance capabilities and global navigation satellite system (GNSS) technology to optimize flight paths and increase operational efficiency.
The PBN course is designed to provide pilots with the knowledge and skills required to understand, plan and execute flight operations using PBN procedures.
This course encompasses a set of navigation specifications and procedures that enable pilots to fly aircraft on more precise and flexible routes, taking into account the performance characteristics of the aircraft.
Pilots attending the PBN course will receive theoretical knowledge and practical training. The course may be part of the initial training of pilots, recurrent training or further training for pilots transitioning to aircraft equipped for PBN operations.
